A delight for the tongue
I ran into white anchovies for the first time at my favorite pizza place, Proto's. Unable to find a source locally I ordered these. The arrived quickly and still cold. The flavor is delightful! None of the saltiness you get with brined sardines. These taste like delicate white fish with the vinegar flavor from the pickling in the background. These are excellent on salads, crackers, or when nobody's looking, a fork.
