What's not to love?
I admit to being a tad biased in favor of Apple products in general, but the new generation iPod delivers just as much bang for the buck as all the previous generations. It has a super-sleek design, fast performance, and long battery life. The screen for watching video is plenty big for airplanes and doctor's wating rooms, and it fits easily into my smallest purse. The only thing I didn't like at first was that Apple redesigned the docking plug so that it no longer has the two buttons on the sides for removal from the device, which makes it a tad harder to shove into the actual iPod, but I'm getting used to it. The whole plug system is so much simpler than in my old iPod--there's only one cord now and the whole thing charges off USB, not just firewire. All in all, a great product and the new 120GB is the same price as the old 80GB, so I've got 40GB more space for the same amount of money I was going to spend before - glad I waited a week to purchase!
iPod Classic 120GB sooo Worth it!
I bought this iPod because I just bought a brand new 2009 Honda Civic Sedan Si which has the functionality of a USB port in the car. I know I could have just used a jump/thumb drive with the USB port, but instead I decided to go with the new iPod Classic.

I just plug the iPod into the USB port in the car using the USB/iPod Cable and it works like a champ. I can control the entire iPod through the car controls on the steering wheel and on the dash.

All in all, I personally think it's worth the price and would highly recommend it to other interested buyers.
Best traditional iPod I've owned
Wow, I wasn't expecting to like this iPod this much. I had a 5G iPod. How much different could this 7G iPod be? A lot better. It's faster, smoother, with a better menu system. It supports Apple's new Genius playlist system. It's slimmer but the battery last longer. This was a good upgrade from an older iPod. This is a reminder why Apple dominates the portable music player industry.
