Personally, I don't see how anyone can live without grits. Always cook them slower and longer than the directions. Add cheese, salt, pepper, tomatoes, or salsa and on payday you can afford to put a heap a helping of fresh boiled shrimp on top. Damn, I'm getting hungry thinking about King's grits. Gotta go order some.

Cook and stir until boiling. Cover, reduce heat to low, and continue cooking for 5 to 6 minutes, stirring occasionally.
